Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of MockUp Buddy, operated by Design Buddy Ltd. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. What MockUp Buddy provides
MockUp Buddy is a design and visualisation tool for creating social media and webpage mock-ups. Features may include image and video upload, editable social layouts, exports, saved mock-ups and browser-extension functionality.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity carried out through your account. Please provide accurate information and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Free and paid plans
Some features are free and others require a paid subscription. Current plan limits, pricing and included features are shown in the product. We may change plans or pricing in the future, but changes will not apply retrospectively to charges already paid.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload or create using MockUp Buddy. You grant us only the limited permission necessary to process that content and provide the requested service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to use any logos, images, video, names, trademarks or other material included in your mock-ups.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use MockUp Buddy to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, impersonate others deceptively, distribute malware, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access or create content intended to facilitate fraud or other harmful activity.
Mock-ups should be used responsibly. MockUp Buddy is intended for design, presentation, creative, marketing and visualisation purposes and should not be used to mislead people into believing fabricated content is genuine.
6. Third-party platforms
MockUp Buddy is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Instagram, Meta, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X or other third-party platforms unless explicitly stated. Platform names, interface references and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep MockUp Buddy reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Social platforms and browsers change frequently, so some mock-up features may occasionally require updates. We may add, change or remove features where reasonably necessary.
8. Intellectual property
MockUp Buddy’s original software, branding, design system and product content remain the property of Design Buddy Ltd or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of those rights to you.
9. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a recurring subscription through the available account or billing controls. Cancellation normally prevents future renewal while allowing access for the remainder of the paid billing period. Any refund rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
10. Liability
MockUp Buddy is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Design Buddy Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Suspension or termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users or third parties, or where these terms are materially breached.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as MockUp Buddy develops. The current version will be published here with the date of the latest update.
